The masons — an organization shrouded in mystery for several centuries. Someone says something about them as secret world leaders, someone like about the occult sect, someone accused of conspiracy and impact on people’s lives. But what is the truth? Here are some facts about the masons, which might lift the veil of secrecy over this fellowship.

The masons are not a secret society

Masons do absolutely no mystery of its own existence. Every member of the fraternity has every right to talk about the fact that he was a Freemason to anyone, it is not prohibited by any codes or oaths. The only thing you cannot tell is the inner rites and rituals of the brotherhood, those that have access only to the initiated. Besides, the masons strongly opposed to be called secret society. About themselves they say as an “esoteric society, certain aspects of which are private, or secret.”

Freemasonry is one of the world’s oldest fraternities
