Shevchenko picked 25 players for the match with Portugal

The main team of the country this coming Friday kicks off in the selection for Euro 2020.

For the away match with Portugal national team coaching staff, led by Andriy Shevchenko took 25 players. As previously reported, Shakhtar midfielder Viktor Kovalenko left the team due to injury and midfielder of “Dynamo” Vladimir Shepelev left in Kiev by decision of the coaches of the team.

The national team of Ukraine for the match with Portugal:

Goalkeepers: Andriy Pyatov (Shakhtar), Andrei Lunin (“Valencia”, Spain), Denis Boyko (Dynamo).

Defence: Mykyta Burda, Artem Shabanov, Vitaly, mykolenko (“Dynamo”), Sergey Kryvtsov, Mykola Matviyenko, Bohdan Butko (FC Shakhtar), Eduard Sobol (Jablonec, Czech Republic), Alexander Karavayev (Zorya).

Midfielders: Serhiy Bolbat, Taras Stepanenko, Rakitskiy (Shakhtar Donetsk), Serhiy sydorchuk, Nikolay Shaparenko, Vitaliy buialskyi, Victor Tsygankov (“Dynamo”), Yevhen Konoplyanka (Schalke, Germany), Ruslan Malinovskiy (Genk, Belgium), Roman Bezus (Gent, Belgium), Oleksandr Zinchenko (Manchester city, England).

Forwards: Roman Yaremchuk (Gent, Belgium), Artem Kravets (Kayserispor, Turkey), Junior Moraes (Shakhtar).

The national team of Ukraine at about 20:15 local time to arrive in Lisbon. The next four days, the team will be based in the Metropolitan hotel “Epic Sana”.

On Thursday, the Ukrainians in the stadium “Da Luz” will hold an open training session, and half an hour to which Andriy Shevchenko together with one of his players will hold a press conference.

The match between Portugal and Ukraine in qualification for Euro 2020 will be held on Friday, March 22. Kickoff meeting will be 21:45 Kyiv time.
