Today, September 1, knowledge Day, the horror of Kevin Gramerta “Dragons” (Jackals) was released in limited us theaters and has appeared on platforms and services, working on the principle of “video-on-demand”. On this occasion we got another trailer. The first (along with a very good trailer) you could check out a couple of weeks ago.
Recall what movie:
A strange family, cut off from the outside world, is hiring a technician to recover her son, kidnapped by henchmen of a sinister cult. The situation is complicated after the rescue operation will end with success: the family will be in the siege, the zealots will demand the child back.
Mr. Rotert known for the sequels of “Saw” (No. 6 and 7), and the movie “Jezebel” and “Vision.” For the scenario meets Jared rivet – and this is his debut work in feature films. Well, the most notable of the acting brethren of the project is to recognize Stephen Dorff (“blade”, “Straham” and the upcoming “Texas chainsaw massacre: leatherface”). The company he was Jonathon Shek (“Culling”), Deborah Kara Unger (“White noise”, “Game”, “silent hill”) and a bunch of cultists in masks, which distance can be mistaken for antagonists of the film “You’re dead!”.
In the above passage there is nothing eye-popping: it’s a piece of conversation of the hero Dorff and one of the cultists. But the tension is felt even in these one and a half minutes. The character Dorff, it seems, is not easy.
