The mayor of Brovary disown card, calling the event a “provocation”.
The mayor of Brovary in the Kyiv region Igor Sapagka stated that he had agreed to another card option for the main stage of the city, and the version of the poster without the Crimea and ORDO he believes a planned provocation.
“The police opened the proceedings by fact of this event. According to information which I possess, it was a planned provocation. I and my Deputy have agreed on another banner,” said he in an interview to Hromadske .
The mayor noted that he did not know how the banner / s have hit the scene.
We will remind, the head of the cultural Department of the Brovary city Council Inna Savchenko resigned after the incident with the map of Ukraine without Crimea and the occupied regions of Luhansk and Donetsk regions, which was placed on the main stage of the city for the celebration of Independence Day.
