Public Privat will be able to sell only five years.
This was stated by the head of National Bank Valeria Gontareva during a round table in Washington.
We are talking about selling in 2022, perhaps not even a controlling stake.
“PrivatBank should focus on retail activities and to work with the population and small and medium business, then in five years it can be sold to a strategic investor, or he can spend IPO”, – said Gontareva.
We will remind that earlier the national Bank of Ukraine has estimated the need for additional recapitalization of a Bank in 30 billion.
“146 billion is not all the losses incurred by the state. We have seen fraudulent transactions on 16 billion on the eve of nationalization. I assume that the state will spend 30 billion hryvnia in the Bank”, – said Gontareva.
