Scientists study the “last” ancestor of apes and humans

He was given the name “Alesi”

Scientists examined the skull of a monkey, which may be the last common ancestor of all living apes and humans.

This publication reports the Scientific American.

It is noted that the skull of this creature, even in 2014 found the Kenyan fossil hunter John Akuse and gave him the title of “Alesi”, which comes from the word “ancestor.”

Thus, it became the first found the skull of a monkey that existed on the Earth from 10 to 14 million years ago.

“Alesi is happening with the most correct time and place to show us what it might look like the ancestors of all modern monkeys and humans. We have never had information about this before – it has always been a mystery,” explained study co-author Ellen Miller.
