Scientists made a surprising statement about Fox

Foxes locate their prey using Earth’s magnetic field.

Scientists from the University of Virginia, USA, conducted a study to determine whether foxes use the Earth’s magnetic field for orientation in space.

Experts say that the foxes are able to use the Earth’s magnetic field not only for orientation in space, but also to calculate the distance to his victim or enemy. According to scientists, the foxes have a special organ in the eye that helps to use a magnetic field.

Scientists say that this body is a specific ring structure, which is located in the retina and is able to darken, if Fox is looking to the North. If the victim or the enemy foxes fall into the shaded area, the animal attacked, as it is the best distance to attack.
