Children believe that people will never grow old, if not celebrated birthdays. To such conclusion psychologists from the University of Texas trying to figure out how children perceive old age.
The experiment involved 99 children aged 3 to 5 years. Psychologists told the children three stories, and then asked to determine the age of the hero. The hero of the first story never celebrated birthdays. The heroine of the second tale there were two parties on the occasion of the birthday. The third story just said that the child celebrated their third birthday.
