Scientists have named a star twice as old as the Solar system

The age of the star can range from 5.4 to 9.5 billion years.

Star TRAPPIST-1, around which revolve the seven planets, may be almost twice as old as the Solar system.

As stated by NASA scientists, the age of the star can range from 5.4 to 9.5 billion years. It is twice more than our own Solar system, whose age is about 4.5 billion years.

In addition, according to NASA, all seven planets in the system, probably tied to their stars, each of which has endless days and nights.
