American scientists conducted a unique study in which can determine what will happen to the inhabitants of the Earth, if the Sun will go dark for 24 hours. Predictions the researchers are not encouraging.
Scientists from the US, with the help of computer simulations, it was found out that in 8-9 minutes after the Sun will set, the sky abruptly turns black and on the planet to fall to darkness. In such an atmosphere the plants will soon be able to produce oxygen, which is necessary for life. Within 24 hours, the surface temperature will drop to +5 — +7 degrees Celsius and will cause interruptions in the supply of electricity and water.
Will start to die, some species of plants, a day without the Sun only sea inhabitants will not feel the difference, experts say. After seven days without the Sun the planet will be -17 degrees Celsius.
