Scientists have found a way to extract electricity from human

Swiss researchers have made a unique material that allows to extract the energy from the human body.

Scientists of the Swiss Federal laboratories for materials science and technology have created a material that makes it possible to extract energy from a moving human body.

As it turned out, the electric current is generated due to the piezoelectric effect.

Experts have created a thin, flexible, similar in composition and texture on the rubber a material that generates electricity when stretched and compressed, and the energy in it is responsible piezoelectric effect.

The developed material consists of nanoparticles and silicone, which present a thin elastic film.

The piezoelectric effect occurs when a mechanical deformation of some crystals leads to redistribution within them electric charges, the result between different parts of the crystal appears voltage.
