Scientists found at the bottom of the Black sea, centuries-old discovery

The archaeologists have found dozens of flooded courts.

Archaeologists from coast found at the bottom of the Black sea dozens of Roman, Byzantine and Ottoman ships.

These marine discoveries are surprisingly well preserved. As scientists have discovered, it happened because of the lower anoxic layer – hardly the best environment for the preservation of relics.

One of the most interesting finds of archeologists – Byzantine ship of the tenth century, which preserved wood paneling.

Moreover, the researchers used the advanced technology of laser scanning and photogrammetry to create stunning 3D images of some of the ships, having received the detailed data for 3D printing some of the artifacts.
