Scientists figured out how to charge a smartphone for 5 minutes

Experts have created a portable battery that charges the phone from 90 to 5 minutes.

Experts from Elecjet managed to create the world’s first portable USB-C battery that can charge smartphones, tablets and laptops in record time. The battery supports charging in the range of from 5 to 60 Watts.

As shown by tests, using the new device is completely discharged iPhone X and iPhone 8 charged in 90 minutes, and less demanding iPhone 5, 6, 7 and SE require charging 5-10 minutes.
