Scary stories from the demon inside

Current results of our voting for the best film of the year in addition to all the obvious leader surprised some of the other positions. In particular, already in second place, but with a good margin, came not gained glory in theaters mystical horror Norwegian Director Andre Overdale “Demon inside” (The Autopsy of Jane Doe). Well, the more fans of this film will know about the new project Overdale.

And they’ll be quite a while already – even in 2013! – announced adaptation of illustrated collections of Alvin Schwartz’s “Scary stories to tell in the dark” (Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark).

At the time this project was linked with the names of people like Guillermo Del Toro (could become a Director), Patrick Melton and Marcus Dunstan (had to write the script), but now they have to “Scary stories…” is not involved.

The screenplay was written by Kevin Hagen and Dan Hagman. Us, horror fans, it should be alerted as the Duo specializiruetsya on the scripts for the cartoons – “the LEGO Ninjago Movie”, “LEGO. Movie”, “Monsters on vacation”. Whatever it was, and the storyline of the film is this:

The film tells about a group of outcast kids, who have to meet face to face with their fears to save their town from the walking nightmares.

Oh, I think I know, thanks to the success of any film this project suddenly became relevant again.

Shooting will start next summer.
