The Serbian authorities accused the Ukrainian Ambassador in violation of the Vienna Convention.
The Minister of foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin called the Ambassador to Serbia Alexander Alexandrovich.
“Summoned the Ambassador to Serbia for consultations on the observance of international law and avoidance of use of Serbian citizens as mercenaries,” wrote the foreign Minister in his Twitter.
The people’s Deputy from BPP, head of the Ukrainian delegation to the parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PAIR) Vladimir Aryev has accused the leadership of Serbia, which, in his opinion, ignoring the support of its citizens Pro-Russian terrorists in Ukraine.
“Attempts of harassment of the Ambassador of Ukraine to Serbian foreign Minister for his position are not allowed! The Serbian authorities have long closed their eyes to the fact that its citizens actively support terrorists and therefore, the position of Ambassador is justifiably hard, but so that in no way runs counter to the Vienna Convention,” wrote the MP in his Facebook.
Recall, the foreign Ministry of Serbia criticized the A. statements about the complete subordination of Belgrade, Russia and threatened to take action over alleged violations by the Ambassador of the Vienna Convention.
According to the Vienna Convention, a country may withdraw the accreditation of the Ambassador and to declare him persona non grata.
Alexander “seems to have forgotten” about their responsibilities, said the foreign Minister of Serbia, commenting on the statement of the diplomat that Russian President Vladimir Putin is using Belgrade as a tool to “destroy Europe”.
