Scammers left a famous athlete without a roof over your head

Grandma knows the whole district.

Obolon six months living on the bench 83-year-old “grandma Nina” who were left homeless due to the housing Scam. It is no one asks nothing. Locals who help her with food and clothing, raised the alarm when the weather got colder. They appealed to reporters because, according to them, the district social services do not respond to their treatment.

“I need nothing”

Nina Antonenko, 83-year-old from Kiev, in the last six months has become a living “attribute” Obolonskyi Avenue. According to residents, it is already half a year lives on a bench in the alley between house No. 18a in Obolonskiy Avenue and the supermarket Varus. “A harmless old lady appeared on the bench in the spring and still, despite the cold, there is, — told “Vesti” called in edition resident Obolon Timofey Kuznetsov. — I saw her in the spring, and then left a long time from Kiev, and you see — it’s all at the same place. Sitting both day and night. Not going anywhere. Neighbors bring her food, some things, called social services, but reaction — zero. It is a pity”.

“Vesti” found a grandmother Nina on his “post”. Sitting on a chair, she hid from the rain last night under the cellophane wrap. Next, in the other chair, on the sheets of cardboard are a few cans of food, a glass with the remnants of tea and two tomatoes, and a little to the side — a couple of bags with belongings of the old woman. She holds in her hands a sign that reads: “83. From Kiev. Crooks robbed the apartment.”

“They call me “grandma Nina” — tells us the pensioner. — I’m a radical from Kiev. Was born and lived on the “Stalinka” in goloseyevsky area. A year ago I had a debt for a communal, people have offered to pay and buy me a house in the village in exchange for my apartment. When I signed the paperwork, I just put out the door. As I later learned, a victim of fraud are even four families.”

The woman said she contacted the police, but she gave the answer that she signed the deed voluntarily and to prove that fraud is impossible. “Last winter I lived from friends, here in Obolon, but I didn’t want to burden people. So in the spring I left. Love the area, come by often. You could say it’s my second home. So I decided to stay here. First was sitting near the bus stop, but the mistress of a neighbouring coffee stall kicked me out. And here, in this alley, I’m not preventing anything,” she says. According to the old woman, people react to it differently, most offer assistance men single chair brought in, someone offers money or food, but women are aggressive.

“Often called a drunk, and I don’t drink, I’m a former professional athlete — a gymnast. Even in Moscow, the children are trained to”, – grandmother Nina

In conversation with “News” grandma sadly recalls how during the Second world war she, being 10 years, was a scout in the partisan detachment. “I told the guerrillas, how many and on which streets in Kiev saw where there are tanks and cars. For me it was a great honor to run such errands,” she says. After the war, she said, she played sports, was a multiple prize-winner of all-Union competition in rhythmic gymnastics, worked as a trainer in Moscow.

“By the way, because of my work experience was in Russia, I do not pay a full pension,” she says to us. Then Nina returned to Kiev, where for 25 years he worked as a trolleybus driver. According to my grandmother Nina, for six months did not approach her no representative of RGA, local deputies or social services. “Me too no one turned, I don’t need help. However, here three days ago, my back went out and could not get up. Passers-by called the ambulance, I was pricked with the cure and left. Nothing, I am an athlete, I am strong,” she says. The grandmother Nina categorically refused any of the proposed “Lead” assistance — money, food, medicines and warm clothes.

“Thank you, I have everything, I need nothing. I’m not used to using, but on the contrary, all my life I helped people. Better call my friend Vitalik, he promised to pick me up,” she says. However, Vitalik phone was out of reach. “Well, nothing, he’s probably busy, I will take away,” says Nina. Interestingly, while talking to the old woman approached the man and offered to bring her tent.

“She’s a beggar”

The chief of regional management of social protection Elena Klebanov, as it turned out, the grandmother knows. “According to our information, the woman there “working”. She comes to a stop during peak hours, to the coffee stalls and asks citizens to help her with money. In this case, it becomes clear why “need” the old lady does not come to us for help,” she says.

“We can’t get it to send somewhere by force”

The district Stanislav Antonishin knows Nina Antonenko and I am sure that she is not “working” as a beggar, and really is living on the street in his time of need and if someone gives money, out of pity. “She has no documents. According to her, it was spelled out in the Goloseevsky district, str. Druzhby Narodov, 7, and resided in the town of Boguslav, Kyiv region. I tried to find her family, but through our database to find them failed,” he says. In order to transfer her case to social services, he said, must from her statement: “She refuses to write. Now I found a Church near Brovary, I will agree that they got her in. But this again need the consent of the grandmother or her relatives. Force to get her there I have no right”.
