SBU and GPU again came to search in the Subsidiary

The management of the company is suspected of misappropriation of public funds in procurement.

Employees of the Prosecutor General (GPU) together with representatives of the security Service (SBU) conducted searches in the premises of the regional branch of PJSC ukrgasvydobuvannya, the press service of the Prosecutor’s office.

According to the report, the demonstrations in the pre-trial investigation in criminal proceedings concerning the misappropriation of public funds.

“It is established that officials of PJSC Ukrgasdobycha acting in collusion with officials of foreign companies by abusing his official position contrary to interests of service, by overstating the value of works on hydraulic fracturing, which are held on the territory of Poltava and Kharkiv regions, in the years 2016-2017 took control of the public funds in especially large sizes”, – specified in the message.

In particular, according to the prosecution, in 2016 PJSC Ukrgasdobycha held 4 of the tender on carrying out of frac on the wells, which are on balance of Ukrainian enterprises. The conditions of these tenders was run 100 operations of hydraulic fracturing with a total value of about UAH 400 million.

“Currently, on the basis of permission of the investigating judge in criminal proceedings, with the aim of finding original documents concerning the conclusion and implementation of contracts, conducted investigations, searches in the premises of the regional branch of PJSC Ukrgasdobycha and enterprises the contractors”, – stated in the message.

PJSC Ukrgasdobycha assess such actions as the counter-attraction of foreign investment. “Yesterday we gave info about the gas production of 171 million cubic meters in the first half of 2017. The main factor – the intensification of the wells that is more than six months we have foreign contractors Takram (Romania) and Belorusneft (Belarus). Today, with searches for UGD came the SBU and the GPU just on this topic – someone apparently did not like that we are involved in Ukraine, foreign service companies that create the market for oil and gas services, work honestly and transparently (all of these contracts – the result of a tough trading on Prosaro), increase loot. The price of these contracts was also historically low – three times lower (!!!) than paid for such services by private companies,” – said on his page in Facebook, the Chairman of the Board of PJSC Oleg Prokhorenko.
