“Long-term negative trends in economic life of Ukraine has created the preconditions for adoption by the savings Bank decision to withdraw from the Ukrainian market”, – stated in the message.
The Bank notes that the events of recent months – the introduction of sanctions of the national security Council, as well as aggressive and persistent action by the National housing intensified the negotiation process with the buyer of an asset of the savings Bank in Ukraine.
Sberbank has openly declared its willingness to gracefully exit from the Ukrainian market, thus maximally protecting the interests of the Ukrainian clients and employees.
“After the signing by Ukraine of the Memorandum with the IMF, and adoption by the savings Bank of the decision on voluntary withdrawal from the market, any later aggressive action against Sberbank, the Bank regards as an intentional infliction of harm the interests of the Ukrainian clients and the state of Ukraine”, – noted in the Bank.
