Sberbank of Russia is considering options as quickly as possible leaving the Ukrainian market because of “a difficult emotional situation.” This was stated by its head German Gref.
“We are considering options as quickly as possible leaving the Ukrainian market. We are in the active stage of consideration of such options”, – said Gref.
He noted that in Ukraine for savings “the situation is difficult emotionally”.
“Because the connection of such completely lawless actions against us, now committed in a number of cities with the connivance of law enforcement bodies, is awful. They do not suppress the activities of these illegal armed groups,” said Gref.
He also noted that from the walled offices suffer as citizens of Ukraine, who receive no salary, and women who “live immured in the building.”
“We can’t say whether the Bank sold or there will be an elimination. We are looking for any options out of Ukraine” – summed Gref.
