The people’s Deputy of the Verkhovna Rada Hope Savchenko said that Ukrainian children should start preparing for military service since the age of six.
She said this in an interview to ZIK.
“The Ukrainian army needs to start with six years, and it should not scare anyone. If we go back to the Cossack times, since they started when the boy started to stay in the saddle,” – said Savchenko.
In her opinion, every child to release needs to get the “affordable” military specialty.
“In school you can’t teach a pilot or submariner. But you can train up to the mortar,” he added.
