The Constitution and the laws of Ukraine no procedure for waiver of immunity. This was told first Deputy head of procedural Committee of the Verkhovna Rada Pavel Pynzenyk commenting on today’s announcement of Nadiya Savchenko.
Recall, Savchenko was sent to the regulatory Committee an application requesting to remove from it inviolability.
“The Deputy Savchenko not to dispose of his person. She can’t ask for the lifting of immunity and can not abandon it, it’s not her property. It is not stipulated by the Constitution and laws of Ukraine, according to which must operate the MP. Neither the regulatory Committee nor the Parliament such appeals shall not consider and decide. This statement will not be submitted for consideration, because there is nothing to consider and what to discuss. It’s just PR and empty words,” he said.
