SAP took up the legality of the appointment of Lutsenko

SAP in addition to the possible introduction of false data in the Declaration of Yuriy Lutsenko is investigating the fact of abuse of power during his appointment of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine.

As noted in the Department, according to the people’s Deputy Lyashko, head of the Specialized anti-corruption prosecutors Nazar Holodnenkim in the Unified register of pre-trial investigations were made information about the two facts of possible offenses, one of them on knowingly false information presented Lutsenko to the Declaration, the other on abuse of office when modification of the law on the GPU, allowing Lutsenko to be appointed to the position of attorney General.
