“I hope that the example of Romania in February will be an example for Ukraine in the next few months, so we together made the power of the huckster to get out and completely change the rules of the game,” he writes.

We will remind, the government of Romania today, February 5, quashed the decision on amendments to the criminal code the Amnesty, which caused mass protests.

“In Romania, the government, in the interests of corrupt officials, tried to cover up their criminal responsibility by adopting a decree that thousands of corrupt officials will be exempt from liability if stolen is less than 44 thousand euros,” — says Saakashvili.

In his opinion, “this dogovornyak in Romania worked at the level of the political spectrum.” But hundreds of thousands of people took to the streets and forced the government to abandon the “fixed” and leave in force the rules which pursue corrupt officials.

“Here is the answer to the question why in Romania, which was starving in the beginning of the 90s, and Ukrainians, going back, gave candy to children, so they don’t starve to death, now the Ukrainians are emigrating EN masse in search of a better life. Where there is corruption, there is poverty, there is no future”, — said the politician.
