The head of Mininfrastruktury reported that Ryanair is now in negotiations with the airport Borispol.
Irish low-cost airline Ryanair could start to work in Ukraine in the fall of 2018. This was stated by Minister of infrastructure Volodymyr Omelian.
The Minister said that now Ryanair is in talks with the airport Borispol. “I hope that the second attempt of these negotiations will be successful and Ryanair we will be not later than the fall of 2018. This year, unfortunately, this is unrealistic,” – said Omeljan.
He also noted that the projected capacity of the airport Boryspil – 25-30 million passengers a year. By the end of 2016, he served 8.2 million passengers in this year, predicting 10 million “Is GDP growth of 2-3%, maybe 20-30%. Within two years we can receive 20 million passengers at the Boryspil airport. It is capable to give low. In a regulated environment, traditional airlines won’t do this,” – said the Minister.
