Earlier Roskomnadzor has threatened the companies Facebook, Twitter and Google penalties, if they continue to commit “illegal actions” in Russia. It was about the failure to provide data on the pages containing “illegal information”. In their opinion, Facebook, Twitter and Google “do not comply with the requirements of the Russian law on bloggers”, and if the company will not remove from their websites “the information containing appeals to mass riots, extremist activities” or participation in unauthorized rallies, Roskomnadzor threatened to block access to such resources.
