Hacking has been carried out yet in 2015
According to The Wall Street Journal, Russian hackers managed in 2015 to steal classified information from the national security Agency (NSA), USA.
“The stolen data contained details on how the NSA penetrates into computer networks overseas, the computer code used for such spying and how to protect networks in the United States, said these people (sources – ed.)”, – the newspaper notes.
Hacking was implemented in 2015, however it became known about it only in the spring of last year, says the publication.
According to the newspaper, hackers were able to penetrate to the desired data through software – anti-virus program from “Kaspersky Lab”, which was installed on the computers of the NSA contractor.
In this edition emphasizes that the Russian authorities could have used Russian hackers obtained information to improve the protection of private computer networks.
Meanwhile, as the WSJ notes, “Kaspersky Lab” has denied the information about his involvement in the alleged cyberslam.
According to the statement, “Kaspersky Lab”, the company did not present any information or evidence that would confirm this alleged incident, “and as a result, we must conclude that this is another example of false accusations.”
In turn, the NSA has refused to comment about possible data theft by Russian hackers.
