Russian Anastasia Grecia Ioannina for two months suspended from participation in all-Russian and international competitions due to gross and willful violation of rules and unethical behavior at the awards ceremony in the class singles light weight.
According to witnesses, 23-year-old athlete, who is only in 2014 the beginning of her professional career, during the award ceremony ripped the letter and threw the medal.
“If after the punishment I will repeat something like that, then the Bureau will approach this question more harshly. While athlete suspended conditionally for one year”, – quotes the Interfax the President of Federation of rowing of Russia Alexey Svirina.
