Russia reached a record in oil production since the collapse of the Soviet Union

Russia last year reached its highest level of oil production since the collapse of the Soviet Union — 11,25 million barrels per day. About it writes Bloomberg.

The Agency reminds that in 1987 the country produced a record 11,416 million barrels per day. In 2019 she approached that figure, despite the fact that reduced production as part of a deal with OPEC.

Just 2019, the Russian Federation produced more than 560 million tons, which is 0.8% higher than a year earlier.
