Russian freight trains began to run on the railway line built to bypass Ukraine a month and a half ago.
Russian Railways started a regular freight train traffic on the line zhuravka-Millerovo to bypass Ukraine. On Wednesday, September 20, reported the press service of the company.
It is noted that the first cargo train passed the site of the temporary operation, moved the wagons with grain, iron ore and construction materials.
According to the company, “test operation will test the readiness of the railway infrastructure, traffic control systems, and prepare the locomotive brigade.”
