Russia is establishing trade with North Korea

Russia sells the DPRK coal and oil, and opened a ferry service, despite tightening international sanctions of the UN.

In the first quarter of 2017, the trade turnover between Russia and North Korea increased by more than 85% compared to the same period last year.

According to radio “Voice of America”, from January to March the trade turnover between the two countries amounted to about 32 million dollars.

The majority of Russian supplies to North Korea have for energy.

In particular, Moscow exported to the DPRK coal $ 22 million, lignite — 4.7 million and crude oil by 1.2 million dollars.

The UN security Council condemned the new launch of North Korea’s ballistic missiles.
