The Russian Federation continues to violate its commitments under the Minsk agreements and is not going to return in international law, said President Petro Poroshenko at the session of the parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe on Wednesday in Strasbourg.
“Russia continues to blatantly violate its obligations. Moscow also continues to blatantly close our eyes to our persistent calls on the international community’s calls to return to international legality. These requirements are clearly recorded in the resolutions of the parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe. However, Russia pretends that it is not about her. Moscow continues to ignore its commitments under the Minsk agreements,” he said.
Poroshenko stressed that Russian troops are still on Ukrainian territory – in Crimea and in the Donbas.
“The weapon also comes from Russia illegal formations. Every day comes more disturbing news about the gross violation of human rights in the occupied territories”, – said the head of state.
