Russia has arrested a fraudster who tried to cash in on the “death” of a granddaughter

The collector threatened to murder his family.

The court in St. Petersburg has made the decision to arrest the collector who threatened the elderly woman with the death of her granddaughter because of the unpaid debt. It is reported by Interfax with reference to the Investigative Committee of Russia (TFR).

“The detainee was transported to Saint Petersburg from Ulyanovsk. Today, September 30, concerning it elected a measure of restraint in the form of detention”, – reported in a Russian law enforcement Agency.

In RCDS noted that the arrested Rustam Mavlyutov was a member of the collection of structures that extorted significant amounts of money from citizens that made loans to microfinance institutions.

They reportedly extorted money from even those citizens who had no debt. Collectors threatened victims and their relatives murder, damage property and spread defamatory information.

Mavlyutov was arrested on Friday in Ulyanovsk and transported to Saint Petersburg. At his place of residence and work were searched, during which seized computer equipment, communications equipment, as well as objects and documents.
