Russia fulfills landing exercises in the Crimea

Russian military learning to seize the bridgehead and defend it.

Russian military during exercises in Crimea held the landing of personnel and military equipment. This reports the press service of the defense Ministry of the Russian Federation.

“In the course launched today at the training ground Opuk practical drawing fighting of the nine Il-76 aircraft at the landing pad had landed a total of about 350 paratroopers, nine combat vehicles BMD-CC2 and a few containers of material resources”, – said the commander of airborne troops of the Russian Federation Andrey Serdyukov.

According to him, the landing of personnel and equipment took place as scheduled.

Also during the exercise large amphibious ships of black sea fleet landed Marines. The military practiced the defense of the bridgehead. Was involved in the battalion-size tactical group of about 300 people Novorossiysk airborne assault division.
