Western experts warn that Russia was nearing the annexation of the sea of Azov and Kiev has almost no tools to prevent it.
Detentions and inspections of vessels in the sea of Azov, which is followed in the Ukrainian ports – the attempt of the aggressor state of Russia to destabilize Ukraine on this front. This statement was made in the US State Department.
“We believe the barriers to international transport navigation in the Azov sea from the Russian side is another example of its attempts to destabilize Ukraine”, – said the foreign Ministry on journalistic inquiry.
The state Department has urged Moscow to halt such practices.
In recent months, with the completion of the bridge in the Crimea, the Russians started to detain ships which are sent to the ports of Berdyansk and Mariupol. Since the end of April arrested nearly 100 vessels.
