Already in early access on Steam – bloody old-school arcade shooter Dead Cells from indie developers Motion Twin. One of the hallmarks of the very good visible now: the graphics in it are intentionally “pixelated, making it look” and reminds me of games that are played generation 1980-1990.
The goals and objectives of the game: to pass the procedurally generated levels (it’s a huge castle filled with enemies, secrets and traps). In early access the game has eleven levels, different design and complexity, a couple of bosses and fifty types of weapons and skills for your character. 8-12 months DIN will be updated with new levels and features.
If someone thinks that playing Dead Cells – easy, then hasten to disappoint: in the game there are NO “save points”. Thus your character will be regularly die! It is true that after death opens up new levels, and there’s a reason. The fact that “Dead Cells” is a “dead cells”… and that your hero is a walking headless corpse!
In General, DIN is clearly some interest, especially if you are away at times to talk about the days of the uber-challenging arcade fighters like Ghosts and Goblins.
