Forward “real” Cristiano Ronaldo five years in a row topped the scoring race in the Champions League.
Before quarterfinal matches on account of Ronaldo was only two goals, while his rival Lionel Messi from “Barcelona” by the time he scored 11 goals.
Who would have thought that Ronaldo will make an impressive leap and overtake Messi. In two quarterfinal matches against Bayern, real Madrid scored five goals, then scored a hat-trick in the first semifinal match against atlético, and in the final in Cardiff against Juventus scored twice and walked around Messi.
Ronaldo became the first player, who managed five consecutive years to become the top scorer of the Champions League. Earlier, Ronaldo had shared the record with Lionel Messi, four seasons in a row, dominated the ranking of the scorers of the competition.
