The company published the first teaser video of the Phantom of the eighth generation. The official premiere of the car will take place on 27 July this year. Phantom will get a brand new design based on an aluminum frame and bodywork made of carbon fiber. Thanks to this new product will be significantly lighter than its predecessor.
Judging by the video, the machine will undergo some cosmetic changes. Phantom will be different over the long hood, a modified grille and a new dashboard. In addition, according to previously published spy photos of the car Phantom will get low ground clearance, new bumpers.
All technical specs are still kept secret. According to unofficial data, under the hood of the new car will be already known V12 motor. Also not ruled out creating a hybrid version of the car. In motion the current model leads 460-strong engine volume of 6.75 liter.
At the end of last year, Rolls-Royce has completed the production of sedan Phantom of the current generation. The latest instance is the most expensive model of the brand devoted to the sea theme. The exterior of the sedan is made in the style of the ocean liner.
