On the clay courts of Paris continues the starting round of the Open championship of France on tennis.
Defending champion of the tournament Novak Djokovic won the first victory under the leadership of Andre Agassi. In the match with Marcel Granollers, Djokovic showed the game is far from perfect, but still shut down his opponent in three sets. The Serb made eight breaks four times and lost the game on his serve.
Rafael Nadal in pursuit of a 10th title at Roland Garros did not notice Benoit Paire – the Frenchman has created problems for the favourites only in the second set, during which led to a break. Nadal eight times took the filing of a Peer and twice lost his serve.
The main stimuli of the two favorites in the bottom half of the standings are also confident to reach the second round Milos Raonic, Marin Cilic and David Goffin in three sets won a debut victory at Roland Garros.
