Another futuristic concept on the eve of the exhibition CES 2018, presented the Swiss company Rinspeed – unmanned electric bus with a detachable passenger pod.

The robotic bus Snap consists of a carrier platform and a passenger capsule (similar to the decision by General Motors is developing with its hydrogen cargo platform SURUS). According to the concept of Rinspeed, the capsule while it is not needed on wheels, can be used as a trailer for camping, a store, or just as a small, but cozy apartment.

Inside, soft leather seats, Luggage compartments, of a system of wireless charging and brush screens for entertainment and information content. Also inside the “live” virtual assistant that explores the benefits of passengers and ready to help on the first call. The platform is equipped with an electric motor and two guide axes, which, according to Rinspeed, allow the buses to turn around almost on the spot. According to engineers of the company, all of this equipment will become obsolete faster than the interior, and it can be replaced with a new one, according to the New Atlas.

More recently, Rinspeed showed a different idea – double electric concept car Oasis, designed for small private passenger and courier services, the roof had a solar panel, and its interior designed as a modern living room: armchairs, TV, small table and even imitation grass.
