The average salary before the end of this year will exceed seven thousand.
The projected average wage growth of 37%, up to 7100 UAH, it is expected that by the end of 2017 this was stated by Minister of social policy Andrei Reva in the course held in Geneva the 106th session of the International labour conference.
The increase in the minimum wage by 100% was the first step in pay reform, said Reva. He noted that the government will continue implementing measures to keep inflation at a moderate level.
“Pay reform involves the revision of the wage setting with the aim of gradually rising real wages and the elimination of arrears of wages, – said Reva. “Pay reform along with modernization of the system of labour inspection”, – he added.
Recall, the average salary in Ukraine in April 2017, according to the state statistics service amounted to UAH 6659, minimum RS 3200. Relative to April 2016 real wages grew on average by 20.7%.
Earlier, the Cabinet of Ministers has declared that in March 2017, the growth of wages in Ukraine ahead of rising prices.
