In an interview with “Apostrophe” said Minister of social policy of Ukraine Andriy Reva.
The Minister recalled that 47 billion budgeted for subsidies in 2017, was spent in September. To continue payments, the Verkhovna Rada has allocated an additional UAH 7.6 billion for this purpose.
“To subsidize more need November because in December the grant goes in January and funded in the next year. If we had no debt from the previous year, we absolutely still would have invested in these numbers. But I expect that the demand for subsidies is higher than it is now,” said Reva, adding that to accurately assess the need for additional financing will be available only in mid-December.
Answering a question on, whether will suffice on payment of subsidies budgeted for next year 55 billion, the head of the Ministry of social policy announced that this will depend on the results of the current year.
“Maybe this figure will be adjusted, and then from January 1, you can go for a month in a month and funded, in fact,” said Reva.
The Minister noted that it is necessary to take “some important decisions”.
