Region released the first prisoner-the three-strikes lifer

The public is outraged by the release of a serial killer.

Yesterday, November 7, in Ukraine released Ukrainian sentenced to life in prison. This was announced by the former head of the state penitentiary service of Ukraine Sergey Starenky.

“Well. Yesterday it happened. In Vinnytsia region from punishment freed the first prisoner-the three-strikes lifer. It appeared that his illness would harm his podaleku punishment. It was a few corpses. Three of them – the police,” he said.

It should be clarified that we are talking about Alexander Kaverzin – the leader of a criminal gang, who was sentenced to life imprisonment in 2002-m to year for the murder of seven people. He complained that after he has been tortured by the police, he was not given proper medical care. Thus, because of the wrong treatment he was blind.

At the same time, netizens believe that such status cannot be the reason for the release.

“Punishment commensurate with the consequences of the crimes committed. His remaining life is a prison. And it needs to die right there”, “I Wonder what the motivation of the court in connection with a serious illness can die prematurely, not after serving his full term of punishment, or both?”, “I wonder if he will commit another crime? You know, there were precedents when the day was released, and in the evening there was a new crime. And with a new term back in jail, and tomorrow he will kill you”, they say.
