The former coach of Kiev “Dynamo” Sergei Rebrov headed the “al-Ahly” from Saudi Arabia.
Rebrov until recently headed the Metropolitan “Dynamo” – the contract of 43-year-old specialist with Dynamo expired at the end of the season and sign a new agreement with the native Ukrainian club did not.
“Team number 1”, referring to the information portal “Aleqt.com” reports that Rebrov will sign a contract with “al-Ahly” is 1+1. In Saudi Arabia, the Ukrainians will annually receive 2.5 million euros.
On the coaching post “al-Ahly” Rebrov will replace the Swiss Christian gross, under whose leadership the club in the 2015-2016 season scored first League title since 1984.
In this season of “al-Ahly” became Vice-champion of Saudi Arabia and also reached the quarter-finals of the Champions League Asia, where in August-September will play against the champion of Iran “Persepolis”.
