The Mercedes model or 770 Großer Mercedes (it. “Big Mercedes”) was issued in various generations from 1930 to 1943 At the military-historical festival ПЕРЕМОГА.UA in Kiev was presented the car of the second generation body W150. It was produced in 1938.
The machine is manufactured with the bodies of the Pullman limousine, convertible (D and F), and outdoor touring. In Kiev, was shown a rare convertible series D. These cars were produced only 171 instance and today they are a rarity among collectors.
According to the owner, the car was found in a deplorable state, abandoned in one of the garages near the border in Volhynia. After months of restoration, the car received a second life. Despite the fact that the engine on the Mercedes 770 is already adopted and in the exterior there is a novation – lights, the bumper, the car is still unique. Interestingly, the dashboard was taken from the GAZ-M20 Pobeda, which is very symbolic.
