RAMMSTEIN: PARIS – concert DVD, which you should buy (VIDEO)

Forgive me fans of all other modern bands and artists, but I am convinced that Rammstein is the best thing that happened to industrial music and metal over the last thirty years.

I drew on the German phenomenon of attention after the release of their second Studio album “Sehnsucht” (1997), but masterpiece “Mutter” (2001) just struck me, like millions of other people in the heart. I remember buying the cassette with the album on the market (Yes, there was in Vogue magazine), and the seller, a bit warily glancing at me, said, “Rammstein? They’re Nazis”. Remember listening to the tape player lying in his room with closed eyes and lids and the tears flowed during the chorus of “Mutter! Mutter!”. I think I rolled a cassette with this album five times in a row.

And soon tracks like “Links 2, 3, 4”, “Mein Herz Brennt”, “Sonne”, “Ich Will” and the others rushed out from every window, from each car and of course they rattled from behind the door of any gym. And the clips? Videos on these songs were masterpieces in themselves, and combined with music, poetry and the voice of till Lindemann is just something mind-blowing. Remember the Snow? What I’m asking – is impossible to forget!

Then I saw and learned that “Rammstein” not only create an outstanding, chilling music, not just shoot gorgeous videos, but also concerts unique make with special effects, pyrotechnics… Here they also were innovators and brought the live show to a new, some, as it seemed, already a prohibitive level.

Why am I all that? Yes to the fact that may 19 will begin to receive new concert DVD, “Rammstein” – RAMMSTEIN: PARIS. The group itself gives to this film-concert a lot of attention. And you will understand why, after seeing several excerpts, as presented below. Directed by Swede Jonas Åkerlund, on account of which not only work with artists such as Madonna, Lady Gaga, Paul McCartney and Coldplay, but also, for example, atmospheric Thriller “the Horsemen of the Apocalypse” (2008).

Watch the video and make sure I’m not lying – this album promises to be a great event. Powerful performance, powerful directing, powerful installation. RAMMSTEIN: PARIS can really be something memorable.
