Rakytskyy in the ranking of the most loyal players in Europe

Defender “Shakhtar” Yaroslav Rakitskiy joined the list of players, loyal to his native club.

Paying tribute to the legend “Roma” Francesco Totti, UEFA have compiled a list of the pupils of the clubs, who played most number of matches in each of the top 8 of the Championships of the continent.

Ukrainian Premier League in the rating is the defender of “Shakhtar” Yaroslav Rakitskiy, which first came to the club at 13 years of age. The first match in his native club Rakitskiy played in 2009 – since then, the 27-year-old player has played 275 matches, which is a record among the existing pupils of all clubs of the championship of Ukraine.

For nine years the basis of Shakhtar’s Rakitskiy six-time champion of Ukraine and won 13 trophies. In late April, Jaroslav signed a new five-year contract with his native club.
