Elizabeth II has recreated the famous train ride Queen Victoria, which she made on 13 June 1842.
It Queen Victoria became the first British monarch to make the long journey by train.
And now Elizabeth II and the Duke of Edinburgh repeated the trip. The couple took a ride on the prototype for international high-speed trains from Slough and got to London Paddington station.
By the way, were accompanied by their offspring engineers Isambard Kingdom of Brunel and Daniel Gooch, who ran the original train.
The publication notes that the duration of the trip of Queen Victoria was 25-30 minutes, and Queen Elizabeth II reached destination in 18 minutes.
