Arab countries broke off diplomatic relations with Qatar over its support of terrorism
Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, United Arab Emirates and Egypt broke off diplomatic relations with Qatar. And also stop any communication with this country, including aviation.
The reason for this decision was the suspicion of Qatar in supporting the terrorist groups, including the Islamic state, “al-Qaeda” and “Muslim brotherhood”.
In this way Bahrain went due to the fact that Qatar is suspected of attempting to destabilize the situation in the country.
Four countries decided to break off all diplomatic relations, to close land, sea and air ports of Qatar. The citizens of Qatar have 2 weeks to leave the country, and diplomatic missions gave 48 hours.
The decision of the Arab countries will have a negative impact on the region. After all, Qatar has the only land connection with Saudi Arabia. But the closure of airspace would significantly complicate air travel. Some of the airlines stated that cease to operate flights between the two countries.
