The ban was in force since mid-March due to the outbreak of bird flu in some areas of the country.

Qatar lifted the ban on the import of poultry products from Ukraine, which was applied in mid-March due to the outbreak of bird flu in some areas of the country.

“A message was received to the address of Gospodarevskaya from the Embassy of Ukraine in the State of Qatar,” – said on the website of the Ukrainian state service on safety of foodstuffs and consumer protection.

In mid-March, the outbreaks of avian influenza Yemen, Iraq, Jordan, Qatar and China introduced temporary restrictions on export of poultry and poultry products from the whole of Ukraine.

In addition, the EU, Saudi Arabia and Hong Kong banned the import of poultry meat, eggs and poultry products from regions where were recorded outbreaks of avian flu.
