The President of Russia Vladimir Putin congratulated singer Iosif Kobzon with his 80th birthday.

At the meeting, the celebrant presented a picture of the “miner’s song” the painter Alexander Zelensky.
“Meeting with Iosif Kobzon and Ninel Kobzon took place in an informal setting over tea,” – said in the Kremlin.
Putin also signed a Decree on awarding Kobzon distinction “For blessing”. “The award was given for the active charitable and social activities”, – stated in the message.
